well at least there's good news. On the same page as the original article, there are links in the left sidebar. One of them says that the current administration in WASH DC is umm, suspending the search and arrest policy? against mary-juana smokin card holders. in states where the use of it is legal. Now that does seem like good news, we have overprosecuted that population for way too long. Somehow sending the neighbor to jail for smoking a doobie, for his cancer or whatever, does not rate at the top of my law enforcement protection list. They don't help me by arresting my neighbors for such things.

So i was glad to see that headline of relaxed policy from the nation's capital.
